On June 6th, 2025, the Federal Agency for Transport Regulation received a notification of a substantial modification to the Frankfurt–Brussels passenger service. The service will be expanded to include two additional return trains per day on the route Cologne – Aachen – Liège – Leuven – Brussels Airport-Zaventem – Antwerp.
This notification relates to access to the Belgian railway network and forms part of the information obligation laid down in both Belgian and European regulations.
