Airport charges 2011-2016: The regulator disputes the decision taken by the State Secretary

The Regulatory Service for Railway Transport and for Brussels Airport Operations requires from the State Council the suspension and the cancellation of the decision taken by the State Secretary for Mobility by which a tariff increase of Brussels Airport has been approved. As the independent economic regulator, the Regulatory Service questions the competence of the State Secretary in this subject. The Regulatory Service had previously decided on December, 14th, 2010 that Brussels Airport tariffs had to go down, what has later been corrected by State Secretary Schouppe.
